There were bubbles and stress balls, competitions to win free laundry, and plenty of goodie bags on show as thousands of locals headed along to the Caloundra Indoor Sports Stadium for the Regional Disability Expo on Thursday (16 September).
Laundry Lady had all its services on display – including mobile laundry pickup and delivery for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants, support coordinators, carers and more.
It was a first for the service, which now boasts 50-plus contractors across three states – Queensland, NSW and Victoria since launching in 2012.
“Being on-the-ground and making connections within the broader community is great for us as a small business on the move,” says Laundry Lady CEO Susan Toft.
“The Regional Disability Expo provides the perfect opportunity to showcase our services, all in one central – not to mention accessible – space.”
Laundry Lady’s wash and fold services are not limited to the Sunshine Coast, assisting NDIS participants, homes, and businesses across the South East and beyond.
Its presence at the popular expo is testament to its recent growth and success, where it relocated to larger headquarters in Maroochydore and took home two silver trophies at the AusMumpreneur Awards.
Those interested in booking a laundry service with The Laundry Lady can head to the Laundry Lady homepage – enter your suburb, and select from available pickup dates and times.
There are also opportunities to join the team as a laundry contractor (Ladies and Lads welcome to apply!)
