Small Business Month recap – spotlight on our superstar customers

What a month! May is Queensland Small Business Month (QSBM), something the team here at Laundry Lady acknowledge as we operate from a Sunshine Coast-based Headquarters.

We collaborate with local businesses, services, and creatives all year round, but this month we had the pleasure of visiting some of our local laundry customers for real-life testimonials and filming.

Check out some of our fabulous commercial clients below!

Edwards&Co Hair Salon – Noosa

Freshly washed and folded salon towels for hairdressers? Yes – we’ve got you covered. Just ask the lovely team at Edwards&Co in Noosa.

You only have to take one look at this beautiful salon (arched mirrors and colourful wallpaper – minimalist and chic) that Edwards&Co is all about the details.

With Laundry Lady, Edwards&Co can focus on providing exceptional service to their clients, knowing that their towels are always clean, soft, and ready for use.

The salon’s commitment to quality is reflected in every aspect, from its stylish decor to the meticulous care it takes in choosing its service providers.

Laundry Lady’s reliable and professional service ensures that Edwards&Co never has to worry about laundry, allowing them to maintain their high standards and delightful atmosphere effortlessly.

Flo’s Creperie – Mooloolaba Wharf

Now this (not so hidden) coastal gem certainly sent our taste buds watering.

Flo’s Creperie serves up savoury and sweet crepes (we hear Belgian chocolate, caramel sauce and fresh fruit is a hot combo), coffee and cocktails at Mooloolaba Wharf.

Laundry Lady drops by this French restaurant weekly to ensure aprons and restaurant linens are crisp, clean and expertly ironed. Huge thanks to owner Florian for his time talking about all things laundry and how it helps his thriving business.

Bottoms Up – Maroochydore

Don’t let the name fool you – we were instantly put at ease when visiting Bottoms Up Colonics at Maroochydore. We chatted with the knowledgeable and friendly Lahna about the business, learning how Laundry Lady saves her 5 hours each week.

As a busy mum, Lahna knows a thing or two about managing her time efficiently. Laundry Lady has become an essential service for her, allowing her to focus on her family and business without the stress of laundry piling up.

The convenience and reliability of Laundry Lady’s services have made a significant difference in her weekly routine, providing her with more free time to enjoy her life and attend to her other responsibilities.

About Queensland Small Business Month

Each May, Queensland Small Business Month sets out to highlight, celebrate and support the thousands of small businesses operating across the state year-round.

QSBM helps business owners network with their peers and develop their skills. It also encourages all of us to get behind our favourites — retail, trades, logistics, health and others — and let them know we love your small business.

Queensland is home to more than 482,000 small businesses — 97% of all businesses — that contribute around $117 billion to the state economy each year.
