We are excited to announce that we have now made it to the finalist round in two categories of the 2020 Ausmumpreneur Awards – Digital Innovation Award and Service Business Award.
“2020 has been a difficult year for many, and we are proud to be rapidly growing despite the challenges that COVID-19 has brought to the table,” CEO Susan Toft said today.
“Since March this year we have grown from just 6 Laundry contractors to now 14 contractors with 4 new contractors coming onboard in the next 2 weeks. We are looking to grow our team to 30 contractors this year and to over 100 contractors by the end of next year, offering many a clear business opportunity where they can work from home, have flexibility over when they work, and earn a decent income.”
“Our sales revenue was up 30% year on year in July, showing massive growth after our quick recovery from the decline earlier in the year due to the COVID lockdowns. While we have currently suspended our services in Melbourne, demand for our laundry service bookings has been incredibly high in QLD, particularly around the Brisbane area. We are actively hiring in the Brisbane region currently so that we can cope with demand.”
The Ausmumpreneur Awards is all about recognising the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family. The Laundry Lady is the epitome of this balance, as the business was created with this as part of its core values.
“Creating time and flexibility for both ourselves as contractors and for our customers is our core value of what we are all about as a business. We are proud to bring the Laundry Lady opportunity to more women and men throughout Australia who are looking for this balance, and excited to offer our customers the same by providing their laundry services.”
