Assistance products, social activities, and independent living solutions were on show in Toowoomba last week for the Regional Disability Expo, drawing bumper crowds to the Darling Downs hub.
Laundry Lady had all its services on display, including mobile laundry pickup and delivery for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants, support coordinators, families, carers and more.
Having launched in Toowoomba just this year following major growth within its existing networks across Australia, Laundry Lady was able to connect with the community at the October 8 event.
“The big highlight for us was putting faces to our valued customers, and being there to answer any questions they may have about Laundry Lady and what we have to offer,” says Laundry Lady CEO, Susan Toft.
“Many of our customers, including those who have, or help manage NDIS packages, don’t always know about the types of services that are available out there and can help them at home.”
Laundry Lady offers a unique pickup and delivery laundry service, where customers can book online at the click of a button and have their dirty laundry collected directly from their door.
“Our customers’ laundry – clothes, linen, towels and more – is then washed, dried, folded and ironed, and returned in our branded bags the very next day.”
The ease of Laundry Lady’s booking and invoicing system has seen it shine in national award programs like the AusMumpreneur Awards.
More recently, it has been named a finalist in two categories (Trades & Services and Export) as part of the prestigious Sunshine Coast Business Awards.
The Laundry Lady is headquartered in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast and has a team of 55-plus contractors (Laundry Ladies and Lads) working across Queensland, Victoria, NSW and Western Australia.
Those interested in booking a wash and fold or ironing service with The Laundry Lady can head to www.laundrylady.com.au.
There are also opportunities to join the team as a laundry contractor (Ladies and Lads welcome to apply!) – www.laundrylady.com.au/join-the-team.
