Some wins are easy to explain. This one takes a bit more unpacking, because it’s not about one campaign or one clever idea. It’s about a small marketing team that has spent the last few years figuring out how to grow a laundry service across four very different countries, and doing it with heart. That team just picked up Best in Tech Startup Marketing 2026 from Startup Daily, and we couldn’t be prouder.
Why this award means more than it looks
Behind every shiny award photo is a lot of work. Spreadsheets, late nights, campaigns that get scrapped and rebuilt, and endless testing to figure out what actually resonates in each market. The team behind The Laundry Lady’s marketing, the ones who wear pink without a hint of apology, are the driving force behind every campaign, reel, and story we’ve put out into the world.
Growing a two-sided marketplace isn’t as simple as running a few ads and hoping for the best. On one side, we need independent Laundry Partners who want real flexibility and a fair way to earn. On the other, we need households and businesses to trust us with something as personal as their laundry. Balancing both takes patience, local knowledge, and a genuine understanding of what each community needs to hear.
Solving a different puzzle in every market
Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK each come with their own rhythm. What works in Auckland doesn’t always land in Toronto. A message that resonates in Brisbane might need a completely different angle in Melbourne. Every city, every suburb, and every channel needs its own approach.
That means the team is constantly switching gears. One day it’s a street-level campaign in a new suburb, the next it’s digging into data to fine-tune a digital ad set, and the day after that it’s coordinating an influencer partnership or getting boots on the ground for a local activation. Somehow, they make it all look effortless.
Keeping it human through all the growth
What sets this team apart isn’t just the results, it’s how they get there. Even as the business expands into new regions, they’ve kept the brand feeling human. No corporate jargon, no cookie-cutter campaigns copied and pasted across markets. Just genuine, local storytelling that treats every audience like the community it actually is.
A huge thank you to our community
A massive thank you to Startup Daily for the recognition, and congratulations to every other winner in this year’s Best in Tech Startup Marketing Awards. Being part of such a strong group of finalists is an honour in itself.
To the team behind the pink: this one’s for you. Thank you for turning chaos into campaigns that connect, and for making sure that no matter where in the world someone books a pickup, it feels like The Laundry Lady.
