And yes, there’s even time for “playing with my puppy dogs [and] doing a little bit of a shopping in between,” before ensuring all laundry is ready for next-day return.

Therese believes in being “friendly, be polite, take that one step further if you can.” This approach fosters trust and repeat business. “Positive relationships are very, very important,” she notes. “If you have a positive relationship with your clients and your customer base, then you’re going to do a lot better.”
One particularly amazing moment stands out for Therese: doing the laundry for a soccer club, a New Zealand team visiting for a game. “They hadn’t had their washing done for four days,” she laughs, recalling the challenge. After a couple of washes, the laundry was perfect. “When they received it back, they were so grateful… that they gave me tickets to the game in Brisbane!” It was an amazing experience for her whole family.
