The recognition follows the company’s recent nomination for the Regional Heroes Awards, and comes as Laundry Lady announces $1million in seed funding to take it’s services to Canada, the United Kingdom, and beyond.
Regional Roots, National Impact
According to Laundry Lady CEO and Founder, Ms Susan Toft, Laundry Lady prides itself on having regional roots.
“Currently, around 44% of our contractors are based in regional areas, helping us bring convenient laundry services to communities outside the major cities.”
The company’s SEQ origins have shaped its approach to growth and community connection.

Laundry Lady operates from a Sunshine Coast (QLD) headquarters, with a team of 10 Head Office Staff. This supports a network of more than 375 Laundry Ladies and Lads across Australia, and 30+ in New Zealand.

Winners across the 14 categories will be announced at the Startup Daily awards ceremony in Sydney on September 25th, where The Laundry Lady will celebrate alongside some of Australia’s most promising tech companies.
